Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and MONOROOM, based in Sweden ("MONOROOM", "we", "us") about using MONOROOM. By making an account or using MONOROOM, you agree to them. Questions: collabprodsavbeats@gmail.com.
1. What MONOROOM is
MONOROOM is a tool for music producers: a Library for your files, sendouts to your contacts by email, iMessage, Telegram and Discord, a public Beat Store and Link in Bio, deals and payment plans, a YouTube Uploader, Homie the assistant, and more. Some parts are add-ons you turn on, and some are marked beta or coming soon.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16, and 18 to sell or take payments. If you use MONOROOM for a business, you agree for that business.
- Give true details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Your username is your public link (monoroom.app/@username). You can change it once every 30 days. We can take back a username that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark or is left unused.
3. Your content stays yours
You keep all rights to the beats, samples, files and information you put in MONOROOM. You give us only the permission we need to store, process, convert (for example into tagged MP3 previews or videos) and deliver it the way you ask, and to show it on your public pages. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You promise you have the rights to everything you upload, sell or send, including samples in your beats and the work of your collaborators.
4. Use it fairly
Don't use MONOROOM to:
- upload, sell or send anything you don't have the rights to;
- send spam or messages to people who didn't expect to hear from you. You're responsible for following anti-spam and marketing laws, and the rules of the apps you send through (iMessage, Gmail, Telegram, Discord, YouTube);
- harass people, share illegal content, or upload malware;
- try to get into other producers' accounts or files, overload or attack the service, or copy MONOROOM's software.
We can remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. If it's not urgent, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
5. Selling beats and getting paid
- When you sell through your Beat Store, the sale is between you and the buyer. You're the seller: you set the prices, the license terms and you handle refunds, taxes and questions from your buyers.
- Payments go through Stripe, straight into your own Stripe account. Stripe's own terms apply, and Stripe charges its fees. MONOROOM doesn't take a cut of your sales today. If that ever changes, we'll tell you well in advance.
- MONOROOM makes license agreements and Read me documents from the details you enter. They're templates to help you, not legal advice. Check them with a lawyer if you need to rely on them.
- Deals and payment plans: MONOROOM can send payment links and reminders to your clients for you. The deal itself is between you and your client.
6. Plans, trials and paying for MONOROOM
- New accounts get a free trial. After that, MONOROOM needs a paid plan. Prices and what's included are shown before you pay.
- Plans renew each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- If you live in the EU, you have 14 days to cancel a new subscription. By starting to use a paid plan right away, you agree that this right ends once the service has fully started, as the law allows for digital services.
- Invite rewards: when a producer you invite pays for their first month, you get a free month. Rewards can't be exchanged for money, and invites to yourself or fake accounts don't count.
7. Third party services
MONOROOM works with services like Stripe, Google, YouTube, Gmail, Telegram, Discord, Cloudflare and Anthropic. When you connect them, their own terms apply too. The YouTube Uploader uses YouTube API Services, and by using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. We're not responsible for changes or outages on their side.
8. Homie, the assistant
Homie uses AI and can be wrong. It only changes things after you press Confirm, so check what it suggests before you do. Don't rely on it for legal or financial advice.
9. Copyright complaints
If you think something on MONOROOM infringes your copyright, email collabprodsavbeats@gmail.com with what it is, where it is (the link), proof that you own the rights and your contact details. We'll look at it quickly and remove it if it infringes. Producers who repeatedly infringe lose their accounts.
10. Closing your account
You can stop using MONOROOM and close your account at any time. Download what you want to keep first. We can close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or that haven't been used or paid for a long time, after warning you.
11. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep MONOROOM running and your files safe, but we can't promise it will never be down or never lose data. Keep your own copies of important files. We improve MONOROOM all the time and may change or remove features. If a change takes away something important you pay for, we'll tell you first.
12. Liability
MONOROOM is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses like lost sales, lost profits or lost placements, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law, or liability for gross negligence or intent.
You're responsible for claims against us caused by content you upload or the way you use MONOROOM, for example selling a beat with an uncleared sample.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you at least 30 days before. If you don't agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect.
14. Law and disputes
These terms follow the laws of Sweden. If there's a dispute, we'll first try to sort it out with you directly. If that doesn't work, the courts of Sweden decide, but if you're a consumer you can also use the courts where you live. EU consumers can also use the EU's online dispute resolution platform.
